Surf for More MathLesson 8 - Searching for ShapesTo encourage students to have fun on the Web while learning about Searching for Shapes, here are some games and interactive activities they can do on their own or in pairs.
GoalIdentify 3-D and 2-D shapes in the environment.
Instructions for UseHidden Shapes lets students find shapes in a picture. To use Hidden Shapes, find the shapes in the picture. Click on all of them until the picture is coloured in. Click the "Next" link for a new picture.
Searching for Shapes prompts students to observe where shapes can be found in the environment. To use Searching for Shapes, click on a shape. Click on the pictures to enlarge them. Try to identify what each object is and find the shape in the object.
